Return & Refund Policy

At SaberLabsCo, we take pride in the quality of every saber — whether designed for duelling or display. Our policy is designed to be fair and transparent, while protecting the integrity of high-value, custom, and limited-edition items.


Standard Returns

You may request a return within 28 days of receiving your item, provided the following conditions are met:

  • The item is unused, undamaged, and in its original packaging
  • You provide valid proof of purchase
  • The saber has not been modified, incorrectly charged, or altered in any way

Unless the item is faulty or incorrect, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
We strongly recommend using a tracked and insured service, as SaberLabsCo cannot be held responsible for items lost in transit.

Items must only be handled as necessary to inspect them. Removal of protective packaging is permitted; however, any signs of use, wear, or damage beyond inspection may result in a reduced refund.


EU Right of Withdrawal (Cooling-Off Period)

If you are located in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your item, without giving any reason.

To exercise this right:

  • You must notify us within 14 days of delivery
  • The item must be returned within 14 days of your withdrawal request

Returned items must be unused, in original condition, and in original packaging.

Items must only be handled as necessary to inspect them. Removal of protective packaging is permitted; however, any signs of use, wear, or damage beyond inspection may result in a reduced refund.

Exceptions (EU law):
The right of withdrawal does not apply to:

  • Custom-built or made-to-order sabers
  • Personalised or signature edition items

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is faulty or incorrect.


Non-Returnable Items & Exceptions

To protect the value and condition of certain products, returns will not be accepted for:

  • Raffle wins, direct sales, or booking-based releases.
  • Custom-built or made-to-order sabers
  • Items that have been used, damaged during combat, or returned in unsellable condition

We also cannot accept returns for items damaged due to:

  • Incorrect battery installation (e.g. reverse polarity)
  • Internal modifications (e.g. board or SD card changes)
  • Improper charging (including non-approved chargers, overcharging, or overheating)

Clearance and sale items follow the same return policy as standard items, provided they remain unused and in original condition.

We do not accept returns or provide warranty for items purchased second-hand or via unauthorised third-party sellers.

Damages, Defects & Warranty

If your item arrives damaged or defective, you must contact us immediately upon delivery with clear photos and a description of the issue.

Our warranty covers:

  • Manufacturing faults
  • Core or electronic issues not caused by user error

We do not issue refunds for damaged items, but we will work with you to repair or replace faulty components where appropriate.

Returns must be authorised in writing before being sent. Unauthorised returns will not be accepted.


Refunds

Once your return is approved, your refund will be issued to your original payment method.

If a return is made for reasons other than fault or error (e.g. change of mind), a 10% deduction may be applied to cover processing and handling fees.

Please allow up to 14 business days for refunds to be processed, depending on your bank or payment provider.
